Tough to the Core!!! (June 20th, 2007)




After Monday and Tuesdays workout in which I assessed and trained the athletes, I noticed that many, if not most of the athletes had good strength in the core musculature, but lacked stamina.
Todays WOD was designed to address that issue. We will continue to go after the core, while teaching basic and complex movements in the workouts and the warm-up for preparation of more advanced and complex WOD.

As many rounds as possible in Stardom 12min, Bravo 13min, Celebrity 15min

2x 20sec forward plank hold
2x L/R side plank hold
15 squats
Farmer's Carry 10-20lb each hand (40yd)
Waiter's Walk 8-20lb (20 yd each)
20 squats
15 push-up

Results
Bravo 2rnd + side plank
Stardom 2rnd + waiters walk
Celebrity 3 rnd + forw plank
(Courtney did a Farmers Carry with 40% of her body weight)
