Uneven Deadlift!!!

We really challenged mid line stability at CrossFit Legacy. Check out our workout to see what are folks were doing.

Deadlifting is hard enough, but throw in an atypical stimulus and the task gets ever harder. Couple the previous atypical lift with an overhead squat and you the end result is a rock solid athlete.

WOD

5 Burpee
10 Uneven Deadlift
15 Overhead Squat
20 KB/DB Swings

From the pictures, it only looks like we performed the overhead squat. On the contrary, we are highlighting those who have made tremendous improvement in the form and power output.

Jessica is coming off a major injury, and she is really showing great movement patterns and great intensity



Kelly has progressed well this past week. She finally "got" the mechanics of the OHS and is showing great progress



Caryn totally impressed us today. For the first time, she took about 20lbs over her head and maintained great form throughout the workout. She really impressed us with her mid line stability



Eric also put weight over his head for the first time today and maintained great form as well. The transition from PVC OHS to weighted OHS can be difficult, but he did very well and maintained great intensity
