Congratulations to the Lady BEARCATS!!!

(Kay in Red)

Congratulations to Crossfit Legacy Athlete Kay Young and the Lady BEARCATS women's soccer team!!!

Kay trained trained at Crossfit Legacy this past summer and quickly made an impact on the Lady Bearcat Soccer team as Freshman!!! Kay is an amazing athlete and always gave 110% when she was in the gym. She usually had a smile on her face, except when Handstand Push-ups made her dizzy, but she recovered quickly, and finished the workout!!!

She was able to do more push-ups than any other girl on the team in pre-season conditioning and smoked the competition on the Manchester United endurance test!!!

As a true freshman, Kay has played in 16 of 18 games and started 10 of them. She has played over 1,100 minutes and has helped the Bearcats reach the Big East Championship tournament for the first time in their history!!!! She has apparently gotten the nickname....the "Amish Assassin"! I am not sure how she got this name, but read this blog, written by one of her teammate.
