I AGREE. I HAVE FOUND THAT THE BETTER I EAT, THE BETTER I PERFORM. WHY? I DON'T KNOW AND DON'T CARE. I JUST KNOW THAT MY TIMES CONSISTENTLY GO DOWN THE BETTER I EAT.
I ZONED FOR A CONSISTENT 4 WEEKS BACK IN MARCH AND APRIL. I CURRENTLY CAN EYE-BALL MOST OF MY FOOD INTAKE TO STICK WITH ZONE FRIENDLY PORTIONS.

happy thanks giving to every1,and nice wod 2day i have to say its really hard.way to push though it
Brian, I'll do the first 3 weeks of december on the Zone as best I can. I'll be living out of the chow hall and measuring my food won't be an option. I'm also going to only be able to do the first three weeks b/c I go on leave the 19th and I'll be traveling a great deal...also a hinderance to one's ability on adhering to the Zone.
I purchased some PaleoKits, http://paleokits.bigcartel.com/, to hopefully alleviate my traveling diet woes. But I will be staying with friends in Columbus, and my mom will be cooking for the Holiday. Let me know when you plan on starting your 4 weeks. I'm going to keep a daily log of how I feel and what I ate.
When I'm home for Xmas I will definitely stop in for WODs. Hope everything is going well at Legacy. Take Care.
Brian, this is perfect timing. I really started watching my eating this Monday and have had a couple of good days. Avoiding all sugar the best I can.
I ordered a copy of "Mastering the Zone" on eBay last week (under 5 bucks including shipping) and it should be here in a couple of days.
I know I feel better when I am leaner. Over the years I have lost hundreds of pounds but they are smart pounds, they always find their way back.
Count me in 100 percent.

I've been off of sugar since the beginning of the year, for my New Year's Resolution...and it's been great! For pointers, interesting recipes and how to deal with that insatiable sweet tooth, check out my blog! There is probably more information about sugar than anyone would want to know.
I would highly recommend to all of you to have a "back up" goodie in place of a sugar-laden treat. This will arm you with the ammunition needed to get through it. After my initial sugar withdrawals, it's been great. I miss certain foods--no donuts all year!!-- but I feel so good about myself.
Good luck to you!
It is great to see that there are some out there ready to do this. I actually really cut back the sugar a couple of days before my Cert @ Rogue.
So far, it has been pretty good, but I had some really ''off'' days early in the week.
Turkey day was tough....I would assume that was my cheat day! But I still ate less sugar that previous years.
I started a few days ago, and look forward to the results.
Andrew---look forward to having you in the gym again.
Terry....I was thinking of you man...need to win the 12 weeek challenge, correct?
Thanks for the tip on your year without. I am sure that will come in handy for these guys!!
